504 "Service didn't reply before timeout" in recommendation flow

504 "Service didn't reply before timeout" in recommendation flow

I am getting the following error:

}

 

for "/recommendations" and "/recommendations/available-genre-seeds". Client ID: 1e419b2959804564872d55dcc4770965. 

It worked yesterday though and no changes where made to the requests.
Is this an API error or a problem on my side?

I got the same problem and thought that I´ve been somehow locked out of that endpoint for some reason. The strange thing is: with different app credentials it works for a little bit then errors again.

One more here. Start getting 504 error since 22 september...

I'm also getting 504s on the same two endpoints. Before seeing your post, I opened this:

I am also getting the same, from the last 2 days unfortunately. Can provide client-if needed for debugging. No changes were made to the request. 

Also getting these errors. After waiting a day or so it works once or twice and then back to 504's

I found a solution that I imagine is temporary, just go to your spotify dashboard and hit the "Rotate client secret" button and change your client secret to get the token and that makes it work

I also have the same issue, it all worked fine before. But suddenly after a certain moment, it's always time out. Unless I create a new app in the Dashboard and use the new Client ID...
