Are there further restrictions for Game Development with Spotify API?

I signed up to be a Spotify developer a few years ago.  I have heard that there are more restrictions on what can be built using to Spotify APIs.

Someone told me that Spotify does not want any of the APIs to be used in Games.

Is something like this restricted?

If this type of application violates the Spotify Developer agreement - we will delete immediately.  Just wanted clarification.
