Finding / making a playlist with a specified number of songs

My Question or Issue

Howdy,

I am currently working on a school project to generate a playlist that is based on the length of a road trip.  I have successfully generated playlists for all categories but this. Is there any way to extract only a set amount of songs to play from a pre-existing playlist that I can then play on the Spotify widget?
