Get Recently Played Tracks endpoint not returning total count.

I am trying to get the total amount of the results of a call to the /me/player/recently-played endpoint but the property is missing in the response. 
The field exists in the docs.

Seeing the same issue here. Not sure if it only is returned under certain conditions, but it would be useful for pagination.
