Get popular artists of genre

Hello, gyus! My name is Ildar, i'm junior React web developer. I need help with my pet project. In result i wanna see: if i click to genre, my app show popular artists of this genre ( take artists followers). But i don't know how can i build api request. In documentation I found popular albums, popular songs, but i don't understand how get popular artist of genre.
