How do I add a local track to a playlist through the web api?

My Question or Issue

I'm using the web api to make a site that enables users to create and fill Spotify playlists through the (pretty awesome) spotify web api. I couldn't find how to add a local track to the playlist though. Is this possible?

Glad to hear that you're finding the API useful, @Yapper. Unfortunately no, it isn't currently possible to add a local file to a playlist using the API. You can reorder or remove local files from playlists that already contain them.
