How to get currently playing track from Spotify Embed

My Question or Issue

I currently have the Spotify embed player on a website, I want to know what song is currently playing on the player and provide the user with information based on that. I have access to the Web API and am able to retrieve user's currently playing song when user is playing music on the Spotify windows client, but not the embed (the user is logged in on the embed).
