How to move a Web API app out of Development Mode (no “Request Extension” option)

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a Spotify Web API app that uses the Client Credentials Flow to read public playlist metadata.

Everything works fine with my own playlists, but for any other public playlist I get this error:

{ "error": "Could not fetch playlist tracks", : { "error": { "status": 404, "message": "Resource not found" } } }

I understand this happens because the app is still in Development Mode, but my dashboard doesn’t show any button or link for “Request Extension of Quota Limits” or “Production Access.”

Does anyone know the current 2025 process to move a Spotify Web API app out of Development Mode?

I just need to enable public playlist access — no user login or private data is involved.
