Is it okay to deploy my app without an extension request (so friends can test it)?

My Question or Issue

I have a small toy project that's essentially this (https://pudding.cool/2021/10/judge-my-music/) but with ChatGPT. I don't intend on getting an extension request (until the site is polished, if ever), but I'd like to have a link to share with friends so they can test it out. My understanding is that the app would not work if they aren't added to the user list anyways, so it okay to deploy my project to get a link?

As far as I understand you don’t need anything to test with friends. Just add their account information in the settings of your app in your Spotify developer account and that will work.
