Is there a way to like and dislike individual tracks via the API?

When I listen to the Release Radar or the Weekly Discovery playlists, I am able to either "Like" or "Dislike" individual tracks.

I would like those features to become available through the API.

My end goal is to re-map keyboard shortcuts to be able to Like/Dislike tracks without having to maximize the Spotify windows app, hence enhancing my productivity.
