Is this idea of a "Spotify playlist exchange/suggester" app aligned with Spotify's TOS?

Is this idea of a "Spotify playlist exchange/suggester" app aligned with Spotify's TOS?

Hi!

I'd like to discuss an app idea that I believe could bring value to both users and the indie music community. However, I'm also conscious of ensuring it aligns with Spotify's TOS, and I'm seeking your insights on the matter.

App Overview

The core idea behind the app is to provide a platform for indie musicians and music fans to showcase their music and/or music taste through playlists/Radios and for music enthusiasts to discover unique tracks. Users would be presented with a series of curated Spotify playlists, while they would also be able to add their own playlists to the app. The twist is that users' listening activity would directly influence the order in which playlists are presented.

Purpose and Context

The goal is to create a supportive environment where indie musicians, curators and users, who want to share their music taste through showcasing their playlists, gain recognition through genuine engagement. By encouraging users to listen to others' playlists in order to get their own playlists presented more in the app, we hope to move away from the unfortunate yet, sadly, very common stream-4-stream approaches and other suspicious promotional concepts.

Alignment with Spotify's TOS

I want to ensure that this concept respects Spotify's TOS and developer guidelines. While the app encourages playlist engagement, it'd have no monetization, ads, or microtransactions of any kind. The primary focus is on fostering a community of indie music lovers who appreciate and engage with music in a meaningful way.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post, and I'm looking forward to your guidance and feedback.

David
