Is using this library a no-no and will my account get banned if i use it?

Hi, I am curious about an open source library on Github called CSpot.

It appears to run on multiple platforms (even the PS-Vita from a fork)
But i don't see any spotify library it is using.

There is a company that is currently trying to sell a product with this firmware (essentially 'stealing' cspot and trying to sell it commercially on a piece of hardware)

If i buy their product and use it, will my account get banned?
The product is not yet released.

Here is the link to the library

The company that's using this library is free to do so since it's licensed under de GNU Public License as long as they include this license in their software. See cpot's license.

The company incorporating this library might need permission from Spotify though.

Since a premium Spotify subscription is required to use cspot, I can't imagine your account being banned because you won't be doing anything wrong.

thank you for the response. I understand GPL2.0 license. What i'm concerned about is my account being banned by use of an unauthorized library (breaking the TOS agreement). Primarily #1 listed in this link.

I'm not the best at interpreting legal jargon..
I think the cspot library definitely goes against TOS, but will using it leave me vulnerable to an account ban?

Thank you
