Monetization options of iOS app that only does playback Directly Through Spotify App

If I were to create an iOS app using the iOS Spotify SDK, but didn't stream any music directly through the app and instead relied on creating and modifying playlists, playing certain playlists, and starting/stopping the music playing out of the actual Spotify app itself, would this type of app fall under a streaming app?

I notice that this document (https://developer.spotify.com/policy/complying/) states that "Apps using the iOS or Android SDKs to start, stop or modify playback of music" count as streaming apps, so I was wondering if it was referring to the playback of music through my app itself, or if even controlling playback of music through the actual Spotify app would classify my app as a streaming app (and therefore limiting its monetization options)
