Open spotify link in app, if app is installed, otherwise in Web Browser

Hi there,

I've researched this topic before, but all answers seem to be 2 years old, so I will give this a try:

I'm currently creating a website and I want to include a Spotify link. I want for people, who have spotify installed, to have the link opened in the app. I do this with the URI link. Disadvantage: If s.o., who does not have Spotify, clicks on it, nothing happens.
So I need to take the open.spotify.com/track.... Link. But if I use that, then it also opens in the Web App for people, who DO have the app installed.
Both solutions are annoying.

So I would need a link that opens in the app, if the app is installed, and else in the browser. Alternatively I would need a way how to check, if the desktop app is installed and then choose which link is displayed.
Is there any way to do this?
