Receiving outdated data from the /browse/new-releases endpoint

Solved!

Receiving outdated data from the /browse/new-releases endpoint

Hi everyone,

I've encoutered a strange issue where the data I retreive from the https://api.spotify.com/v1/browse/new-releases API endpoint is stuck in april.

I've made sure that the offset is set to zero. All of this is through direct requests (curl), and I get the same results in the playground! The latest release should be HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish (17th may 2024), but instead I get "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT" by Taylor Swift (18th april 2024).

Does anyone know why the data seems to be stuck in april? It used to work fine.

Thanks.

Yup, it's broken, been broken for a while https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-for-Developers/Web-API-Get-New-Releases-API-Returning-Old-I...

Even the What's New tab on the Spotify app has also been broken for a while.
