I am working on a personal app to visualize my extended history and I thought I should review some of the Spotify TOS and design guidelines. One of the main conflicting factors in the design guidelines is the restriction on cropping Spotify artwork.
Looking at my app, it is a blatant breach of the guidelines due to the cropping of every artist image.
Is there any way to get around this or am I out of luck and have to resort to a much uglier approach in which I have the square images inscribed in circles.
