Spotify Web API respoding with 504 Gateway Timeout

My Question or Issue

In the past few days we have been receiving a lot of 504 Gateway Timeout responses using the Spotify Web API. We are trying to send the following request:

curl --header 'Authorization: Bearer <access token>' "https://api.spotify.com/v1/recommendations?max_acousticness=0.4727109413285636&max_speechiness=0.098..."

This exact request is sometimes working and sometimes not working and returning a 504 response. Because it's sometimes working, it's clear that there is no mistake in the request itself, and is likely a server issue.
