Spotify contact for academic researcher

Solved!

Spotify contact for academic researcher

Hello,

I am an academic researcher and would like your help with my research query. In my research, I am using Spotify community data which are posts and comments in the spotify community. Can anyone tell me whom I can contact at spotify to get approval for using spotify community data?

Kindly note that this data is not device data but only online community data. To ensure privacy, we will not be collecting any personal information and we will be anonymizing the data.

Looking forward to your help!

Hi Rabsal,

Thanks for reaching out, and it's great to hear about your research!

Based on the guidance shared by the Spotify Community moderators, you are allowed to use publicly available posts and comments from the Spotify Community. It's also fantastic that you're ensuring privacy by not collecting personal information and anonymizing the data, which aligns with good research practices.

If you have any additional questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask! Best of luck with your research.

Cheers,
