Spotify web api search for songs

Hello

I created an app in the Spotify developer page and now got a clientId and clientSecretId. afterwards I  implemented a search bar where you can search for a song in my flutter mobile app. this is the only case that I use the api in my app the rest doesn't require the api because I am embedding the preview embed players with the 30second tracks. Do I need any form of permission of spotify to publish my mobile app in the app store or how does this work?

I understand you're asking whether you need permission to add a feature that lets users search for songs using Spotify. As of last month, Spotify no longer allows individuals to request a Quota Extension.

Without that extension, your app can only authenticate up to 25 whitelisted users.

That said, you can still use the Client Credentials Flow in your app if it doesn't require users to log in. Just keep in mind that this method comes with a lower rate limit, and you might run into a 429 error if too many requests are made.
