Spotifyr and Shiny

Is it possible to create a shiny app using the spotifyr package and then let users connect to the spotify API after publishing it? In rstudio, get_spotify_authorization_code() redirects me to the login page for authentication but publishing the app just makes it time out. How could I code in an authentication button?

I also want to be able to do this! Can we use HTML Widgets to create a JS login in Shiny?
