Submitted Spotify Web API Extension Before May 15 – Forgot Test Account Registration

Hi, I submitted an extension request for the Spotify Web API on May 14, before the new review criteria started on May 15.

In the submission form, I mentioned that testers can use any valid Spotify account, since our app uses Spotify OAuth and doesn’t have a separate registration system.

However, I later realized that because we haven’t been granted extended access yet, only accounts registered in the dashboard can log in. And unfortunately, I forgot to register a test account before submitting.

Now that the May 15 changes are in effect, I can’t revise or resubmit the application, since I’m an individual developer and no longer meet the new eligibility criteria.

My questions:

1.Is it possible to update or add information to my original submission to include a test account now?

2.Will the reviewer understand that this was a simple oversight?

3.Is there any risk of an automatic rejection due to this?

I’ve checked Spotify support options, but couldn’t find a way to contact the developer review team directly. I really don’t want this to fail due to a minor mistake after months of effort. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
