It's been 2 months and 18 days since I submitted my extension request and no there's no update..
In the dashboard I get the message:
"The review is taking longer than expected
We are currently assessing your use case together with other involved departments resulting in a delay. We apologize for the inconvenience and will reach out to you as soon as possible."
Any clue how to solve it?
How much time does it take for Scope Extension to be approved?

I requested a Scope Extension for a very lightweight web app that connects to a user׳s Spotify account to read playlists and remove tracks based on user choice.
Specifically, I asked for access to the following scopes:
playlist-read-private
playlist-modify-private
playlist-modify-public
user-read-private
The app doesn’t store any data or perform any playback control - it simply helps users clean up their playlists in a very minimal and user-driven way.
Still waiting for updates from Spotify.
Looks like a lot of requests are pending these days.

We’re seeing the same message — “The review is taking longer than expected - takes forever” — and our request from April 2nd still hasn’t received a response either.
We’ll be sure to share any updates if we hear back.
Still nothing... I don't know how to promote it or if there's a support chain from Spotify to assist is such cases.
