Tracks played with Web Playback SDK don't appear in recent history

Hello!

I recently noticed that if I play a track with the Web Playback SDK, it won't appear in the me/player/recently-played API endpoint results.

I seem to remember that this was the case before. Has this recently been changed?

In any case,  are the tracks supposed to appear there, or is it a conscious decision to not record playing history for Web Playback sessions?
