Various Number of Results

Hello everyone,

I have encountered an issue with the Spotify API and need some help. When using the API request "https://api.spotify.com/v1/artists/61qDotnjM0jnY5lkfOP7ve/albums," I receive a total of 136 albums. However, when I check in the Spotify app or the browser player, it shows 281 albums for the same artist.

In the browser player, the discography query is created using a search query with this endpoint: "https://api-partner.spotify.com/pathfinder/v1/query?operationName=queryArtistDiscographyAlbums&varia...{"uri":"spotify:artist:3meJIgRw7YleJrmbpbJK6S","offset":0,"limit":50}&extensions={"persistedQuery":{"version":1,"sha256Hash":"983072ae655f5de212747a41be0d7c4cc49559aa9fe8e32836369b6f130cac33"}}). However, I'm not entirely clear on how the call is made, especially since I cannot search using the artist ID.

I'm puzzled by this discrepancy of more than 100 albums. Can anyone shed some light on why I'm getting different results between the API and the app/browser player? Your insights would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I don't have a solution, I'm am new to the API and Spotify, but I'm having a similar issue of Albums not showing in the API but are available on the browser and apps.

Where are you seeing the "281" result?

I saw it in the response of the request in the devtools in the browser after I couldn't find a specific album.
