What is going on with the ios-sdk repo?

There have not been any releases to the SDK since February. Issues are piling up and not being replied to.

It appears that there are only one or two developers maintaining the repository, dropping in once every few weeks, and they are very picky about who they reply to.

On the support page, it says the best way to reach out for support is on the corresponding GitHub repository. This is simply not the case.

Perhaps I could link the issues here and at least be acknowledged?

Hi @spottyottiedopa! I'm sorry to hear that your issue in the ios-sdk repo didn't get a response right away. You are welcome to bring up the topic here, it's possible that there are other iOS developers in the forum who can help.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately my particular issues(s) are not syntax errors or inquiries, they are requests for fixes of known problems. I am not complaining about any particular issue that I did not get a reply to, although that is my motivation for posting about it here. Some of the issues on the repository are over a year old with no reply from Spotify employees. If the employees concerned are spread too thin to perform their jobs, they need help or to be relieved.

@spotifyjosh I have talked to all sorts of Spotify support channels and they all link here. Somebody at Spotify needs to be made aware of the poor management of that repository. Right now it feels like Spotify developers are being left out of some sort of cruel joke.

I just noticed the Web-API repository is having the same issue. Does Spotify have a message for developers or what?

This is ridiculous just look at the repository!!!!! Completely dead with no word about it from Spotify. Are you about to deprecate the SDKs?
