user-read-birthday not available?

Looks like user-read-birthday has been removed as a scope and birthday is no longer available via API, is this correct?

It's giving me illegal scope whenever I request it too. But somehow this person's clone of Spotify can still request the user-read-birthday without problems: https://spotify-react-web-client.onrender.com/

So it works in any "old code".  Meaning as long as you have not had to or been asked to resubmit your app for approval, you are good. But as soon as you are approved, the "new" standard is no birthday.
