$0.99 Premium for 3 Months

Hey Y'all.

So the $0.99 Premium deal for 3 months is almost coming to an end and after my 4 years of Spotify usage I have surprisingly never gotten Premium but I would like to change that now.

My question is, can I get the 3 month Spotify Premium deal for $0.99 and then cut it off after those 3 months so I don't have to pay $9.99. By that time, I will be starting college and will be eligible for the Spotify Student Discount.

TL;DR: Can I cut off the $0.99 deal after 3 months and not pay $9.99 to switch over to the $4.99 Student deal.

Welcome to the community!

You can sign up for $0.99 Premium trial now, just make sure that you apply for the Student discount before your trial period ends. You can check when your trial ends on your account page.

If you aren't enrolled at an accredited college or university before the trial ends, you can cancel your subscription and then apply for the Student discount once you've enrolled.

Was finally able to take advantage (or so I thought) of the .99 for 3 months offer... Now I'm confused as to why I've been charged $9.99 ?
