Activating gift card doesn't work

I just bought a few (german) gift/prepaid cards and have trouble to activate one of them. It always says there's a problem. Do you have an idea what it could be an how to fix it?

It just says like 'oops, there's an error' that's all and I tried it for half an hour or so and restarted it and tried it again. Nothing worked. I bought it in the nearest Kiosk I went there again to ask if it was activated but they told me it is and they were right you can see it on the confirmation...

Did you try it on https://spotify.com/redeem? Can you post a screenshot of the error message?
