Was a bit disappointed with the outcome of my live chat today.
My daughter was on her boyfriends family account. They split up so she was removed from that family account. I tried to add her back to my family account. There error message said "you can not join a family account for 1 year"
I pay for family account for 6 members and have 2 slots free so what is the reason for not allowing her back in. Apparently there is no way to do it?
There is a work around by creating a new Spotify account, new email and copying the playlists over.
IDEA: Just remove the 1 year limit because there is a way around it so just make it easier for paying customers.
Thanks.

Hey again @MitchellKivits ,
Have you tried using an incognito tab, clearing the cookies of your browser and using another browser or device?
Let me know how it goes and have a nice day!

Spotify please remove this pointless limitation as there is a way around it. Create new account, invite to family, copy over the playlists.
It would make is easier and less frustrating for paying customers.

Hey folks,
As per Premium Family's Terms and Conditions, it's only possible to change plans once every twelve months.
If someone joined a plan, they can switch to another one, but would need to wait 12 months before joining a different one.
However, it's possible to go back to the previous plan you were in.
Hope this clears things up.
Cheers!
