Being Charged after Cancellation

Hi, I signed up for Spotify Premium sometime back. Last month, I changed my subscription through my Telco service provider, SingTel.

They sent me a text with a link and told me that I just need to open the link, sign up and follow the instructions and I will be able to switch my subscription for Spotify to be under SingTel. I recall that Spotify charges on the 14th, so I emptied my account and true enough, Spotify informed me that my payment had failed. If I have cancelled my subscription, why am I being charged? Please advise. Thanks.
