Being charged twice.

Being charged twice.

I purchased Spotify premium, their 9.99 program. Which with taxes leads to $10.69 It has successfully gone through on the 14th of this month. I checked my mobile banking today and noticed another charge of $5.34 for the 17th of this month. I'm unaware of why I was charged twice and I want a refund for the $10.69 if my student subscription went through. Any advice would be appreciated and an email from the Spotify help center would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Hannah_Caudle! Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

There are two things that could have happened here:

 

  1. You hit the button twice when upgrading. If this is the case the two charges will be on the same date and your next payment date will be 2 months away. You can check by visiting your subscription page here.
  2. You’ve created a second account and subscribed to that one too. Are the charges on different dates? Check your other email inboxes for emails from Spotify--that can give you a clue as to where the second account is registered. You can then cancel the second account by following the steps here.
