My Question or Issue

I am trying to change from a single premium plan to a Duo. If I try anywhere but the app, it tells me to do it in the app. If I try in the app, it tells me my Spotify is linked to another Google account and to change to the right Google account to change the plan. 

 

It's not connected to any Google account except the one that it literally says in the app is controlling the subscription for it, which is the one I'm logged into on my phone. I can't change the subscription in Google, I can only cancel it. I can't change it in the app because the app thinks I'm connected to the wrong Google account and I'm not. 

 

How do I change to a Duo plan when the app thinks I'm connected to the wrong Google account even though it's connected to the only one I have?

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. I'll try to help you out.

 

In this case, I'd recommend you try following these steps to cancel your current Premium Individual subscription. Then, you should be able to purchase a Premium Duo subscription here.
