Can't update payment info

I used to have the student membership, but am no longer a student so I have the normal spotify premium. I'm trying to update my payment info, but when I enter new cc info I'm automatically prompted to enter student verification and the credit card info doesn't save if I don't do so...

Hi @morgangoodson! Sorry to hear that you've run into some trouble. Fret not, this is a known issue and the solution is straight forward. If you’re finding that you cannot update your payment method because the system is stating that your student discount has expired, you will want to cancel your subscription, and then re-subscribe once it has lapsed. This will then allow you to update your payment information.

To manage your subscription, go here. As far as canceling goes, don’t worry! All of your playlists will remain intact. Do note, however, that when your subscription lapses you will lose access to your offline tracks and you will have to re-download them once you re-subscribe to premium. Hope this helps.
