Can’t upgrade to duo whilst paying through mobile phone plan

I am trying to upgrade to duo so my partner and I can share the cost, but I pay for this through my phone contract with EE, I would like to continue paying for it through that but on duo not just singular premium

Unfortunately, not all payment methods can be used for every plan, especially if you're getting Premium through a partner. In that case, you would first have to cancel Premium through EE and wait until that subscription has ended before you'll be able to subscribe to Premium Duo directly at https://spotify.com/duo.
