Cancel the Premium at the new bill day

Cancel the Premium at the new bill day

My Question or Issue

Is Spotify will charge me if I have cancel the Premium plan right at the new bill day?

I have to stop my premium plan  because I have left Japan and couldn’t make the payment.

So I cancel the Premium plan today, which is also the new bill day .

Hey @mtnpn3boqmdt1m8, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

It's best to cancel your Premium subscription a day before the billing date, because Spotify may take the payment on the billing date before you get a chance to cancel it on that day.

If you've already been charged, you will be able to use your Premium features until the next billing date. After that date, your account will revert to Spotify Free and you won't lose any saved content on your account.

I hope this helps!
