My dad bought a gift card for himself but ask me to do it for him. So I type the code to redeem but keeps telling me "Something went wrong. Try again, or get help." But he bought the gift card in another state. So I put the code but the postal code different wanted to try out my postal code but still keeps telling me something went wrong, Then I tried on postal code where he is but tells me again something went wrong. I just don't why keeps telling me this.

I use gift cards as payment usually and when i enter a gift card this always happens but then a few hours later the card suddenly works. I don't know why this happens I do hope spotify does fix this but you just have to wait a few then the card should work.
The PIN was damaged upon using a quarter to scratch it and some of the numbers/letters aren't visible. I can provide the card number if needed. It's a $60 gift card and I already went to support on Spotify and tweeted at the spotifycares Twitter. I haven't had any reply and I haven't been helped. Please respond and help me with my issue

Unfortunately, I'm not able to take a closer look at your account to help you redeem your gift card, but the Support Team can.
I'd recommend reaching them through the form you can find here under the Write to us section. If you get an automatic reply, make sure to respond to it and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you want to contact them on Twitter, make sure to send them a direct message instead twitting at them, so you'll get a response.
You can also message them on Facebook instead
They might need photos of the front and back of the gift card and the receipt, so having that on you before contacting them might make the proces a little faster.

I've been having the exact same problem! Nothing I've tried seems to be helping it. On the store receipt it says the pin is verified, auth code is correct, but when i go to put it in it gives me this. I've only been having this problem since yesterday night. Tried to purchase a different card to see if it was just the gift card I got by today, but it still says it no matter what i do. I haven't had this start happening until yesterday. This was the very first time any gift cards gave me any problems as I've been using them as a way to pay for the service since just after Christmas last year.
none of this helped, i think the redeem site is broken.

Could you try to redeem your gift card in an incognito/private window of your browser, or on a different device?

They can take a closer look at your account and will be happy to help you redeem your gift card!

I am having the same issues here. I got my card about a week about for 3 months of premium and it wont redeem and I've already contacted customer support they said come here and at this point I'm just gonna have them redeem it for me cause it's been a week and it wont work. It keeps saying something went wrong or CSRF token is broken and I've used incognito and other browsers and devices. Please help me here I'm getting fed up.

If you were trying to reach Support through the contact form and got an automatic email response redirecting you back to the Community, make sure to reply to that email and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
You can also direct message them on Twitter, or on Facebook instead.

Could you let me know when did you message them on Twitter, if you're still having this issue?

Could you let us know if you've already checked the code’s characters? Sometimes a zero looks like an O, or a capital ‘i’ looks like lower case L. We suggest that you try different combinations.
