Cannot join my girlfriend's Duo playlist due to "technical issues"

My Question or Issue

My girlfriend purchased a Premium Duo plan and invited me to join the Duo plan. I was able to join the plan but I cannot join the Duo playlist. When I use the link to join I just get an error message (see attached screenshot). I have tried this on mobile and desktop. I even waited some time before trying another time. We just tried removing myself from the plan and rejoining but we still get the same error.

 

How can I join the Duo playlist so it curates the playlist based on both of our tastes? How can I can around this technical error?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

I'd recommend giving it a try while you're connected to a different network. Using a different browser on desktop might help, too.

 

Also, you can try it in an incognito window to see if that makes any difference.

Unfortunately I still get the same error. I have now tried on desktop using
Google Chrome and internet explorer. I also have tried on my samsung galaxy
phone and I still get the same error.

Any other solution recommendation would be greatly appreciated!

You might be experiencing an Ongoing Issue that Spotify is currently investigating. You can find it here.   

 

I'd recommend trying the steps under Status Update. If the issue persists, please add your +VOTE to the ongoing issue.
