Cannot redeem US gift card on UK Spotify

My Question or Issue

HI, My friend in the US bought me a Spotify gift e-voucher on Amazon.com. When Ive tried redeeming on my UK Spotify account it says its invalid for this country. Anyone got any idea how I go about redeeming it or am I going to loose the $99 gift card? cheers

Unfortunately, Spotify Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the country they were purchased in.
