My Question or Issue

I am trying to change my payment method to a new card. The new cards billing address is in Ireland and I am in Ireland, however I keep getting an error "Your payment method and conutry don't match" any ideas?

Welcome to the Community.

 

My first suggestion is that you confirm your Spotify account country. Spotify links your account to a country, which must match the country of your payment method. 

 

Just go to your Spotify account page, scroll to "Account" → "Edit profile" and check the "Country or region" setting. It must be set to Ireland.

 

Also, make sure to use an Irish IP Address. If you're using a VPN, disable it. 

 

You can check your IP here: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to make sure it shows Ireland.

 

If everything looks just right, try Incognito/Private Window. Sometimes cached data or autofill info messes things up.

 

Open an incognito/private window in your browser, go to https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/ and try entering the new card again from scratch.
