Change plan Individual to duo

Change plan Individual to duo

Yesterday I bought the individual plan, but meant to buy the Duo one. How can I change my current plan and pay the difference? Already tried but they always charge the full value. Makes no sense. Thanks.

Hello @cardia!

Thanks for reaching out. In order to change your Premium subscription to Duo, I'd recommend you cancel your current subscription following these steps. You should then be able to purchase Duo here.

Let me know how this goes!

But am I going to be charged twice?

Thanks for the help.

Hello @cardia!

Thanks for your reply. You Premium Individual time will be converted into Premium Duo, taking into account the price difference. Therefore, your next billing date for Duo will be pushed back a few days depending on your remaining amount of Premium.

Hope this makes sense!

@Jose_M But I made a test, and it was charging me the full price, not the price difference.. are you sure it works this way?

Hello @cardia,

When you purchase Premium Duo, you will be charged the full price. However, if your Spotify account page shows you still have Premium Individual time left, this will be converted into Premium Duo time. Therefore, your next billing date will be pushed back a few days (based on the amount of Premium time you had, and taking into account the price difference).

Hope that helps clear things up!
