My Question or Issue

I received an email a few days back about a 2 month duo trial for the normal premium price ($11.99). It said after 2 months the price would go to $16.99. I followed the link, and at the checkout page, it said the price was $11.99 starting 2/12/25 then $16.99 starting 4/12/25.

In the 'Your Plan' section of my account, it states, "your next bill is for $11.99 + tax on 2/12/25". However, I got an email today that said: 
"Your Premium trial is ending and we will take your first monthly payment on 2/12/25. At that payment date and each month thereafter, until you cancel, you will automatically be charged $16.99 a month."

I'm confused as to what amount I will be charged on the 12th and I would like to know as I was planning to go back to a normal premium account after the trial and would rather not pay $16.99 when I was told it would be $11.99. I started the Duo trial on 2/4/25, so I've only had it for a few days, not the 2 months it was supposed to be.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

 

You should be charged the price of the offer you activated on the next payment date. The correct price (the amount that you will be charged next) should be displayed on your account page here.

 

If the account page shows the price for the Duo offer, as well as an active Duo subscription - you should be all set!

 

Should you see a different price there, however, we suggest getting in touch with our Customer Support team, as we don't have access to user accounts here on the Community. They can have a closer look at things backstage and should be able to give you more specific info.

I'm being charged $18.45 for a duo subscription that claims to be $16.99.... everything I've read says the advertised $16.99 includes tax so why am I being charged more?
