Confusion About Subscription Renewal Date – Need Clarification

Confusion About Subscription Renewal Date – Need Clarification

Hey everyone,

I recently subscribed to the Spotify Premium 4-month plan, and I noticed that my renewal date says I will be charged [snip - Moderator edit]. Now, I'm a bit confused about the date format. I know different platforms use different formats, so I just want to be sure when the next payment will be deducted.

Has anyone else faced this issue before? How does Spotify generally display its billing dates? I don’t want to miss a payment or get charged unexpectedly. Also, while checking for renewal options, I was wondering if there are any discount codes or offers available for existing users. I usually try to save wherever possible, and I’ve come across Max Discount Codes , which helps find the best deals on different subscriptions. Does Spotify ever offer promo codes or loyalty discounts?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. 😊

Hi,

My premium plan (4 month plan) says that i will be charged [snip - Moderator edit].

So that date means dd/mm/yy or mm/dd/yy?

Please tell me.

Mine displays as DD/MM/YYYY... I'm in the UK and this is the standard date format. I'm not sure if it would vary depending in region?

When did the 4 months start? If you started today it would make sense that renewal would be in July...

Hey there, folks,

Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community!

The date format may vary depending on the country/language you're viewing the page in. This can be changed by clicking on the current region, located at the bottom right of the webpage, or by simply heading here.

In any case, since you've subscribed to the 4-month Premium offer, then that's what you got, so don't worry! Another way to double-check the amount of Premium time you have left is in the mobile app: just go to Settings > Account > Your plan.

As for your other question, @EdisonTaylor, Spotify has does have some exclusive offers & trials with select partners, but they may vary over time and between markets. Eligible users receive an email + in-app notification with instructions on how to redeem the offer.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘
