Country payment issues

Guess I have to write this here as your customer service is non-existant and I have no idea how else to contact you.

 

I moved to another country and I don't have my credit card from my old country anymore. Spotify asks me to update my payment information, when I do it tells me the credit card doesn't match my country. I can't change the country setting so I find this link. Which tells me to update my payment information? But I can't do that unless I change my country settting?

How do I solve this? 

 

I love the application itself, but your service is complete **bleep**.

Hey @911dagur, welcome to the community!

 

To update the country on your account, you first need to head to your Account page, and click Subscription > Update. Once you enter your new payment details, it should then ask you to update the account's country, and it'll be queued for your next billing date.

 

If you're getting an error before this process is done, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, using an incognito window, or a different browser.

 

As a last resource, you can cancel the current subscription, and you'll be able to update the country, and resubscribe with your new payment method when the account goes back to Free.
