Double charge

Double charge

I recently checked my bank statement and I have been double charged (charged twice per month) the $9.99 payment every month for the last year. I only have one account and want my money refunded. Who can I talk to about this?

Hi @Venessavigil, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

There are two things that could have happened here:

 

  1. You hit the button twice when upgrading. If this is the case the two charges will be on the same date and your next payment date will be 2 months away. You can check by visiting your subscription page.
  2. You’ve created a second account and subscribed to that one too. Are the charges on different dates? Check your other email inboxes for emails from Spotify--that can give you a clue as to where the second account is registered.

Some of them are on different dates, within one day of each other. Can I be refunded the amount for the double charges? What can I do?

Is there a secure way to message someone a copy of my bank statement so we can figure out why I'm being double charged, a secure email or something?
