Hey @_andrea190!

I can imagine how frustrating it is getting double charged.

You might have two different Spotify accounts, one subscribed to individual Premium and the other one to Duo. Could you think of any other email addresses or log in methods you could've used to create an account (e.g. Facebook, Apple, phone number)?

You can try logging in with those alternative details and check your plan profile to confirm the subscription.

If you're able to find a separated individual Premium account, here are the steps to cancel Premium plans.

Hope this helps, let me know how it goes.

I checked i had different account but all with the free plan, could it be that i've been charged for the usual monthly payment but i didn't had enough money on the card so the premium but they didn't gave me back the money? Also because this just happened for this and last month, the other had just one payment signed

The same happened to me, the charges was deducted July 3rd and today again another one was deducted and I have only one account

Hi there folks,

Thanks for the responses!

@_andrea190, if you have a Premium Duo subscription, there's no way that your account will be charged for a different one, so it really looks like you're paying for another account. If you weren't able to find it, you can reach out to the Customer Support Team and they can help you locate it and stop the charges.

@Coldjay, I recommend checking your order history on the account page to see if you can find both receipts there.

Let us know how it goes.

My Question or Issue

Hey all,

A few months back, I found out that Spotify had been charging me for "Family" premium service for years when I was the only person who used my accounts.
I don't know what happened in the process over the years, but when I first signed up to become a premium member it was to be only one account, as I don't need anything more than that. Being upset with this, I cancelled my subscription.

With me thinking the deductions were no more, I found money still coming out by Spotify in my bank statement, and with further investigating, found out that Spotify have been double charging my bank account for the last 5 or so years!?
I feel stupid because I didn't pick up on this earlier, but I have been getting charged every two weeks by these guys, and have missed out on hundreds of dollars. Why would I need two accounts? Let this be a warning to others. Check your deductions on your bank statement.
Speaking with the customer service rep as I type this, they first said they can't give me a refund outside of 14 days, then when I showed my displeasure to this, they said they can give me a 3-month refund. I continued to say no, and now they offer 6 months refund...
That's nothing to what I have lost over the whole course of this nonsense. Something dodgy going on, and by the looks of it, I am not the only customer this has happened to.

Can someone help resolve this?
Thanks in advance!
