Duplicate Spotify Subscription Charge – Can’t Identify Extra Account

Hi everyone,

I have a Spotify Family Plan that we actively use, and I can see it under my account settings. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that I’m also being charged for an individual account.

The problem is that I can’t find any other active account under my Spotify profile—only my Family Plan appears. But my credit card receipt clearly shows an additional charge for an individual subscription.

I have no idea which account this charge is linked to. Is there a way to track down the email or account associated with this extra charge? And how can I cancel it?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. Not to worry, we'll gladly help you prevent any unwanted charges.

 

If you can see the two separate payments on your payment method, then most like you do have a second account, where you still have an active Individual subscription. Consider following all of these steps in order to try and track it down. Since it's a Family plan, it may be worth it to ask your members to do the same, as it's possible the payment is on an account associated with them instead.

 

If you still cannot find the source of the extra payments, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.
