Error switching from Premium Duo to Basic Duo

My Question or Issue
I am trying to downgrade my plan from Premium Duo to Basic Duo. The option is shown as available, but every time I try it I get an error message "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again." This is happening both using my laptop or phone over the course of several weeks.
How can I troubleshoot this?
