Extensive ads despite premium subscription

Since yesterday, every time I play a podcast for the first time in the morning (Android app), I’m getting ads. They seem to go on forever and can’t be skipped. After the third or fourth ad, I just closed and reopened the app to get rid of them. After that, everything runs smoothly again without any ad interruptions—until the next morning. Today, the same bug happened again.
I'm paying for my subscription specifically to avoid ads.
Could you please look into this bug? Thank you!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues. Also, let me know if this happens when you listen to music as well, or if it’s just podcasts.

Regarding viewing ads on Podcasts, Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience, however, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages. There’s more info about this here.
