Fido has advised me to contact Spotify, I keep trying to add Spotify to my monthly phone plan but it keeps kicking it off.

What happens when you're trying to subscribe, are you getting any error messages? If so, trying again in a different browser/incognito window might help.
If Fido manages your subscription, I would, however, recommend trying to reach back out to the folks there so that they can take another look.
If they direct you to Spotify Support again, don't worry. You can give the team a shout one of these ways, and they'll see what to suggest:
