Free premium??

I didn't pay for spotify premium yet i have it on my imac and macbook, but it doesnt work for my iphone. I can connect it and still control music on my iphone from my macbook. I'm not exactly sure if I have premium, is premium where you can play a song you choose right away instead of waiting and skipping songs and can you also choose what song part you want to listen to on premium?? Help im curious if i have premium and I am curious why it won't work on my iphone

Are you hearing ads? 

Also skipping songs in mobile is only available on premium. But you can skip all songs in desktop.

Also in premium you can download music (3,333 per device) for offline listening.

Spotify manages music playback differently based on where you're accessing the app. If you're on Mac/PC you can still choose what to play but you will get a few ads from time to time. On iPhone/Android the only way to listen to music is to click the "shuffle" button. On neither of the two modalities you can download music without a paid subscription.
